XIXcentury-study of literature-students had get to know as much as possible about author and then interpretate text.
In XIX and at the beginning of XX century readers had to find the author's way of thinking, because he was the most important. There were only one proper interpretation,which agreed with author's intention,his thought and idea.

Today author's conception and interpretation is not important,we should focus on the text!
Umberto Eco"Intentio lectoris"-he wrote that reader,in fact,cannot decipher intention of the author,we never know what the author was thinking about and which interpretation is right.
